Hi All, as I think most of us do, I often look at YouTube Videos to see reviews of Guitars, amps and so on.
I’m often fascinated by what I hear. Especially when I listen to Danish Pete (Andertons Videos) and Jim Graff (N Stuff Music).
I love those melodic, clean runs, but I don’t have any references… since I’ve grown up musically with the 80s and 90s rock, metal and thrash and just recently (last 10 years) turned to the blues I understand I lack knowledge.
I mean those jazzy (?) tones, and like chord—>scale/arpeggio—>double stops—>scale/arpeggio kind of stuff…
The closest thing I can think of is SRV’s Lenny/Tin Pan Alley/Riviera Paradise… but also some Jimi…
I really don’t have an idea where to point myself!
Can you suggest me something to improve in that direction? Genre/ Songs, albums and artists? I’d like to listen to and study some of those cool songs…
Thank you so much!
