It is sometimes not there or it is conspicuously hidden. Usually there is an e-mail contact, but sometimes not. Also, ever been put on hold, in a decent mood, then get PO'd cause the prompting hassles are ridiculous and holding listening to terrible music, bad sound, etc, etc. Today I had Piano music interrupted every 10 seconds with thank you please hold type message. After 5 minutes, I hung up. Honestly, I don't think corporations care. In my book, if you are a business and want to be on the internet. POST YOUR DANG NUMBER PROMINENT ON THE FIRST PAGE. Reality rant over.

What bugs me is when they keep interupting the musak to tell me that my call is important to them. If it's that important why do they have me on hold for an hour.

Frederich AC is among the worst. After the prompts you get put on hold and then after 5 minutes sent to voice mail that hasn’t been set up. Everyone is working from home on cell phones which means only a hand full are actually working. I wish them the dismal business failure they deserve.

All the time man, all the time. I pride myself in sneaking around and finding a way inside. But they keep on hiding direct contact to email only now. Then it's a ball game and waiting on the phone is getting longer and the amount of prompts is getting larger and larger. In my recent attempt to acquire living space in the Atlanta area not one, not one apartment complex office answered the phones, not one. Not one answered direct email either. They have online applications to fill out before they will do anything. Eff them.

As corporations get more powerful, our individual rights will wane.

Even finding an email address can be hard.

With phones always try dialing zero, or button mashing until you get an operator.

Unfortunately, pressing Zero will get a message to hear the message and that number does not work. But sometimes Zero does work, but not with a major corp, but maybe with your Doctors office.

I don't know what you're referring to. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I've always had a polite and incredibly well-informed agent pickup up instantly.

If you think that's bad, try finding a way to talk to a human being at the IRS...

They make it hard because usually the information is on the website. The lines are tied up by folks trying to "beat the system" by calling anyway when they didn't want to look at the website.

"we are experiencing usually high call volumes"

No you're not, else you wouldn't have a message already made up.

"The menu had changed, please listen to all the options..."

Has it? How often do you change the menu anyhow? It's always a new menu.

I can see your house from here.
If you're on hold, go to the bathroom.
They pick up as soon as you make that first splash.

THe lines are tied up because the over-paid dumass CEO is on his third vacation this quarter and he is trying to secure his great grandsons future. All this while his company evades taxes, can't get their HR dept to function properly from good ole boy syndrome. Maybe if he took 1 million less a year from his $300mil a year contract, maybe they could hire someone competent to answer the phone. Corporations are changing our lives into monitored sh&*wholes. Its happening, but the George Orwell stuff is catching up.
