I purchased a Custom Shop Telecaster from a good friend of mine. He said he purchased this guitar years ago at Disney World. There were a pair of guitars. One was a strat and the other was this tele. Twins. Anyways, it’s and absolutely beautiful Telecaster but I can’t find out anything about it. I can’t even find a serial number. Just says “Gallery Guitar 1999 Series” on the headstock. I’ll post pictures. Any info on the guitar would be great! Thanks!

    Really that’s the biggest surprise!

I’ve heard of people “winning” guitars that are probably worth about 15 bucks but nothing with a real name on it

I’d have to guess that it was custom ordered by a shop (guitar gallery) like how guitar center, sweetwater, CME, wildwood etc. have orders made to their spec
Fender is a business and I’m sure if they order enough custom shops from them and pay enough money they will make a limited special run for them

I had no idea they sold guitars at Disney World either? The guy I bought it from is a millionaire a few times over and was purging his collection. I got such a great deal on it, I didn’t want to ask too many questions when he offered it up for what he did. I have a custom shop strat and another limited edition Tele that play beautifully but neither, honestly play or sounds quite as crisp and clean as this one. I’ll try to look up if there was a Guitar Gallery in Disney. It’s a 1999 series so maybe this was back in or around 1999 if I had to guess. I know there are no guitar stores in Disney now.

That guitar definitely came from George’s Music, Inc’s Guitar Gallery. It was a shop full of custom guitars in the Disney market near the House of Blues. Fender was a big presence there.
