Henderson, Grealish, Sterling, are all more experienced than Sancho/Saka.

That's something to put in perspective.

Is it bad that this has really really upset me? The past year+ has been difficult for most of us around the world and this just felt more important to me than a normal game of sports.

You wan't some crazy butterfly effect ?

Thanks to this lunatic, France lost, Sweden goes in a last chance match against Italy. Netherlands did not qualify for world cup, nor Italy who lost against Sweden. Sweden finish first in the world cup group stage, Germany facing a huge elimination and pursuing a curse for European world cup winners began by France in 1998.

Italy hire Mancini, do a rebuild of the national team in the Antonio Conte style, and ends up winning the Euro after two dramatic loss in final (2000/2012).

Crazy how a clumsy, lunatic goalkeeper can change thing no ?

It still pisses me off to talk about the 2006 world cup final.

    So yes it's pretty normal.

Very happy! On the whole we deserved to win. Kudos to England for a fantastic tournament and to Spain who in my view played the best football in the match against us. But as said, I think Italy deserved to win both in the last game and in the tournament on the whole. It’s a special night!

Shame Italy couldn’t put them away in 90 because Italy were the better team IMO.

Jesus, I agree with a Wednesday fan. ;)

    It's been an odd night.

    Well done Italy.

The best team, throughout the tournament, won the trophy. There's a symmetry to that.

If you put a few quid on England, last month- they gave you a good run for your money.

The best team in the tournament won. Congratulations Italy.

England were great, with a great manager, but not quite enough to win.

Let's see if we can maintain this trajectory to the next World Cup. Hopefully no more games going to pens!!!!

Don't be so sure. The interest here in the states continues to grow. The various European leagues are shown regularly in many of the bars/pubs on this side of the pond.

Southgate is definitely not a great manager.

For a while England was not able to form player, they did well, but without an experienced coach last step are going to be a mess.

Has a problem with rotation and bench management

He chose to close the game, instead of putting the last nail in the coffin.

His last minute move is one of the worst in History.

    The Rashford-Sancho-Saka move is Legendary.
