Esquire with 5 way super switch

I was thinking about modifying an esquire and im not really good with the switch wiring, would it be possible to use a 5 way super switch to get 5 different modes so:
1:straight to output
2-4:normal esquire
5:eldred mod

What are you calling "normal Esquire"? Because in my mind that would include either your number 1 or 5, if not both.

This is what I'd call "normal Esquire".

Yes, it can be done, probably just fine with a two pole super.

See, that may be historically accurate, but I’d say get you a no-load pot for your tone control so you can get 1 and 2 in the same switch position, make one go straight to the Jack and then you can start having some fun

Absolutely, I'd use a noload for that too.

Many of my wiring posts just attempt to answer the question asked, not to provide opinion. That last post is one of those.
