That's what I was thinking. Unfortunately, the label is missing, but this is what the sellers stating. Could very well be wrong...

They're asking around $200. I may just do it.

Maybe ask to see the back? The neck plate should be stamped if it's an ESP and there's no part swappery afoot. Also worth asking if they added the second string tree. ESPs I'm seeing show only one.

Yea I'm waiting for additional photos. I was just trying to get a head start by posting on here. It does look like they replaced the original shoe tree and add a second one on. All of the ESPs online have one and are silver, not black like these.

Yeah, not an LTD. LTD puts the model name at the 12th fret. Mine says te-212.

That doesn't look like any ESP I've ever seen. It looks to me like there was a paper label on the headstock, not a silk screened logo or decal like Fender uses. I've only seen paper labels used for serial numbers on the back of the headstock on some older Fernandes guitars, but never on the front, and never for the brand's logo. And, if it was an ESP decal that WAS there, wouldn't the discoloration be shaped like this decal, and not rectangular on both ends?

That's just the recent ones with that headstock, and they also made replacement parts.

If you can find out it’s esp I’d definitely do It for 200 some of the early ones have “fender” headstocks and be on the lookout for anywhere on the guitar that says New York they had a custom shop in the US in the early 80s , you might end up getting lucky either way if it’s a Japanese esp it’s certainly worth 200 bucks even if the body and neck/neck plate are the only original parts

The headstock looks similar to a Fernandes.
