I'm in! Proud Gibson Rusty Anderson ES-335 owner. This Beauty collected dust at my local guitar store. I managed to get a very good price on this one due to a miniscule ding. I still had to sell my pv Jazzmaster and a fender tube amp to get it.

When I got home I discovered that this guitar guitar was indeed a good find. Apart from the the fact that it[ plays and sound excellent it also is a little rarer than I originally thought.

I discovered that it is numbered 10 of 25 instead of RAxxx. The guitar is also signed by Rusty. It was not easy to find information on this guitar but apparently my guitar is from the pilot run of 25 guitars. They are signed by Rusty and has hand picked tops.

    Can I join?

Been wanting a 335 for quite some time and I picked this up last Friday. I played the crap out of it this weekend and I just love it. I was not interested in a hollow with a Bigsby when I was looking, but man am I glad I got this one. It's a gem!

I'd like to submit my heavily modified Epiphone Dot Studio for consideration. I'm a lefty and had a hard time finding a budget semi-hollow body, so I took this wrong handed Dot Studio and converted it to a lefty. Replaced the original bridge with on that would allow for more adjustment to get the intonation correct.

I'm in. I picked up a 1988 Dot reissue, tobacco-burst. I am doing quite a bit of work to it. Photos when it is presentable.

    Complementary

The OP mentioned, "The guitar that most complements a Telecaster", and I totally agree!

    Body: solid vs. semi-hollow
    Neck: 25.5" vs. 24.75"
Fretboard (in my case): Maple vs. Rosewood
    Pickups: single coil vs. humbuckers
Tuners: 6 on one side vs. 3 on each side
Saddles: 3 brass vs. 6 steel
Controls: 2 knobs vs. 4 knobs
Neck: bolt on vs. glued on

Mine is an Epiphone copy, but with an upgraded bridge, upgraded proportional nut, Fralin pickups, de-glossed neck & some electronic upgrades IIRC, it plays and sounds pretty nice.

I like the variety, but my Tele is still my favorite.

Mine turned up this week, a 97 Nashville in immaculate barely played condition. I'm loving it so far and it compliments my Nocaster perfectly. ImageUploadedByTDPRI1435340372.473914.jpg ImageUploadedByTDPRI1435340407.925426.jpg ImageUploadedByTDPRI1435340443.109594.jpg

Love mine. A 90s reissue. Just enough quilting. Super easy to play. Played a lot so the nickel has aged nicely and fretboard has darkened. Sounds great through the vox and the drri combined. Sweet and bluesy with plenty of cut.

Count me in. Just got it last Saturday. My neighborhood Sam Ash had a 3 year 0% sale that included used instruments and I just couldn't pass this up. My 2000 Nashville made Gibson ES 335 DT. Plays like a dream and sounds even better.
