For me the biggest one is my old National version of the Silvertone 1340 amp....I had no idea how awesome that little 3 watt beast was, and of course I’ve been trying to track one down for a few years now and can’t find one. Here’s what she looked like.... 78A14C24-2B92-4E9A-8AD1-F7C67E537488.jpeg and here’s what she sounded like

My first guitar.. a Squier ‘51!

    2813B951-6FAD-4251-9A63-BBC9C25BC78B.jpeg
(Not my actual guitar but black with a black pickguard)

It would have been 11 years old which marks how long I’ve been playing.

Have I mentioned the 59 Special?
    I believe I have. Ugh.

    Cheers,

The 100w Marshall head I sold for $225 in 1976. Hands down.

Blonde 1960s ES 175D and the little Gretsch 6164 tremolo amp that went with it.

My 100W Marshall Plexi, SFDR in a pretty maple cabinet, 55 Gold top, 63 Epi Texan, and 01 Gibson 1954 Les Paul Custom reissue.
Honestly, the stuff I have now is just as good, or better.
The Texan has the most sentimental value.

    I had 2 different 1956 4 door sedans.
    Both were great.

Ive had 2 x Vox AC30's one was the Heritage and one was a 1965 Top Boost.

As much as I really wish I could keep them, there was just no way to justify keeping them when 99% venues where I play I can barely get the volume past "2" on these.
And way too loud for home practicing. They would sit unused for months on end, Id fire them up to just make sure they still work.

The 1% where I can let it rip, it was best tone Ive ever been able to achieve. Did an outdoor school fete with both running together, unbelievable.

Wish I still had my 73 LP Custom and 76 Flying V.
Also a Ampeg SVT head with the 8x10 cabinet that was super fun.

    This is easy:
A ' 68 Deluxe Reverb ( in great gigging shape- loud and clean toned). Just needed the $$

Epiphone Double Cut Special- basically a well made, mid 90's Cherry LP Special import. I immediately 'ruined' the guitar by having SD ' Hot Soapbar' P-90s put in, instead of even listening to/trying out the stock ones. Did NOT like sound ( but never did anything about it. had lots of guitars) , but sold it.
I wanna do-over with this one!

I wish I had not sold my Univox "Coily" green burst 335 copy, not because it was a great guitar but it was my first electric guitar and my dad bought it for me when I was a kid. Dad died around 29 years ago in 1990. I sold the Univox and a couple of other things to come up with the money to buy my Gibson 62 ES335. I am still glad I was able to buy the Gibson as it is a much better guitar but I wish I had the Univox for sentimental reasons.

I have no pictures of mine but here is a pic nabbed from the net somewhere but it looked like this one.

Mid 80's I picked up a small tube amp for $20. It was a little worn looking but worked fine. I thought it was meh, until I cranked it up one day. That little thing had beautiful breakup. But once i picked up a Gemini 1 i never looked at the little amp again and ended up giving it to a buddy who had no amp. I don't regret helping the guy out but sure could use that little amp now

'63 walnut SG, 60's white Tele, Marshall 1959 Plexi, Marshall 50w head with reverb, Marshall 1960 cab, HH 1x12 50w combo, etc. etc.

Basically most of the kit I've ever sold, I now wish I still had.

Moral of this tale - sell nothing :)

Cort acoustic which was a gift. Sold after domestic pressure.

Crafter mandolin. Sold under domestic pressure.

My first acoustic guitar. Donated to a music school that went broke about a month later. Couldn’t retrieve it.

I don’t have a lot of gear. So I tend to keep what I have. Everything has to earn its keep.

In short don’t let your wife’s irrational anxieties get to you.

My JC 120. I would just like to find out if it was as awful as I remember. I have much better taste now, so maybe the problem is me?

If one only then I would go for the AV56 Strat in shell pink. I've never played a guitar that Good, or am I likely to again. What an utter idiot I am to have let it go.
