I have a 2012 MIK natural. Excellent guitar. In the middle of three mods--new keystone-style tuners, an Epi maestro tailpiece, and Dearmond Goldtone pickups. With the exception of a nitro finish, it's everything i want at a very reasonable price.

OK, wait, mine is not a 'Pro', just a regular Sheraton II.

That sounds cool. Yeah, I'm interested in what people think of the Pro II. Generally the interwebs say good things. I was just curious if the fine folks here had the same opinion.

I did a little googling, and I think Epiphone rebranded their Sheraton II.

The old Sheraton IIs were great, I'm sure the new ones will be too. Just make sure it's not too heavy. Mine was about 10lbs!

Don't know about the pro but I had a II, it sounded great, played nice and I didn't like it. It was big ,heavy, and had a headstock dive that I hated. Sold it after about 10 years of ownership and got a 335 Pro that I'm very fond of.

It's really a great guitar. Nice inlays. Powerful humbuckers.

Friend got a MIK same time I had my Gibby 335 Fatneck. His had genuine Gibson PAFs. Skinnier neck, otherwise somewhat similar playing and sounding. Nice fit and finish, bit garish to me. Doesn't fit in a standard case due oversized headstock but we found one that fitted.
