Those are crazy expensive for what they are, and reading reviews about saddles like these, a consistent complaint is that the fit is sloppy in bridge X. Tight fitting saddles are important.

Also, since this is an experiment I'd like to be able to swap it in and out in the event I don't like it. But I may end up doing something like that in the end.

So here's a bit of a theoretical exercise.

What I know that I have on my Casino is a TOM bridge with post to post centers of approximately 74mm and with a small post stud that is 4mm on top and 5mm on the threaded end. And as a practical matter, my current TOM is plenty wobbly when its not under string tension. It is not a precise fit at all.

Ideally, I'd just buy an "import" TOM and be done with it, but Tonepro doesn't appear to sell an "import" bridge with small posts and nylon saddles. No one does that I can see.

Tonepro does have a few TOM bridges in standard that seem like they'd work, given the tolerances here. I've grabbed a drawing of the TP6 as an example. Tonepros actually has some other examples that have hole spacing of 73.7 mm.

If these are accurate then the difference between 74.0 mm hole to hole spacing (which there's no guarantee that Epiphone is that accurate in the first place) and 74.4 mm shouldn't be that great. It's especially not that great when you remember that Tonepro's post holes are actually not 4mm, but a range between 4.90 and 4.14. And their stud is 3.9mm. So the spread is a bit wide, the holes are a bit large and the posts are a bit smaller. Seems like this might just drop right in.

Anyone with experience on TOM bridges think I'm way off in my thinking here?
