I've got a handful of Eno LPs/CDs including some with Fripp and a couple ambient ones. I think they're fairly interesting and there's something to be said for his "anything goes" non technical approach. I never resonated with "glam" as a fashion esthetic so I sort of had to get over that.

Fear of Music came out right before I returned to college for my Sophmore year. I played that album so many times every song is ingrained in my memory. As far as Eno is concerned, the artists and albums he’s produced stand as a remarkable testament to his abilities. His contributions to modern music are on a par with the finest in the industry.

His “Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy” is a pretty cool record. And “Music for Airports” is in my opinion the best record in the world to help you fall asleep. And I mean that as a compliment. It’s incredible.
