I play at different places, but most often at church. We have stage lights that are terrible for stage noise. Standard issue single coils don't cut it. I went through humbuggers and noiseless pups until I put an EMG t-set in my silver burst parts/mod caster. They sound fantastic.
Well I picked up an LTD TE-212 T style guitar about a month ago, and put some EMGs in it on Saturday. This time I went with an RT in the bridge and a 60 in the neck. Wow does it sound great!! These pups are so underrated! EMGs certainly aren't just for metal!

Some of my favorite players have used them. Lukather, Gill, Knopfler, Hetfield.

I'm with you on this one.

I have one with an Emg T-set, but it has a humbucker route in the neck posi. So with a different pickguard I rotate an 60 or an 85 in there in every 3 months or so.

    My go-to guitar.

Yeah I dig the 60 in the neck. Sounds great.

Does the Vince gill set sound more twangy in the bridge? Or is it typical strat?
