There's plenty of reviews out there, so I won't go into all that stuff.

However, I'll say that it is a fine guitar in all respects. Well, woth the $1100. Plays great, tons of sustain, excellent workmanship...very well protected from shipping damage, and top quality materials.

Sounds incredible through the old Princeton!

There's someone over on TGP having an '00 RI refinished as a Goldtop at RS Guitarworks. It's tempting to send my '82 Standard off to have that done. Hate to spend the money on a refinish though.
