The chords sound unbelievably gorgeous. This is truly one of the best bits of kit I have ever seen in my entire life.

That would be great to put a chord sequence down on a loop and play guitar over the top.

Hmm, very interesting... seeing as I play in a 3 pc band, I don't have to worry about upsetting a keys player too much...

Agreed, let's see someone like Gearmandude (or even better, Frankenstomp!!!) put this pedal through it's paces...

To be honest, I think if I got this, I would use it for a couple weeks then sell it. Seems like another novelty pedal that wouldn't find much use for me. I'm not a pedal addict. I like reverb and fuzz mostly.

I think this might have more use than the POG or the Ravish. With the right balance it can beef up a guitar in a live setting. The true test of this (or any similar pedal) is how it sounds in a live situation. The only thing holding me back from ordering one is EHX notorious lack of quality and life expectancy.

Yeah +1 here I think. I mean if it were a $90 pedal, maybe... But not at $250. Still you gotta hand it to EHX for thinking outside the box and pulling it off apparently very well.

Any idea when these are going to hit the street so I can try one out? I haven't been able to find anything about a release date.

Sweetwater will have them in end of next week or so, and the price is $221... I've already pre-ordered mine...

What happens if you bend a note or use finger vibrato or a whammy bar? Is it a tracking issue?

I'm having flashbacks to when I took jazz guitar in college. The teacher stopped the class, glared at me, and said, "Stop bending notes. You cannot bend notes--this is jazz!" I never took a jazz course again.

I got the same comment in a jazz improv class.
    Tell that to Melvin Sparks!

You can bend notes if you want, but it's not going to sound very organ-like. Because, you know, you can't bend notes on an organ.

Pitch wheel. And besides, it seems like it would make for some really unique, bluesy sounds. I must have my bent notes and microtones!!

You're free to bend all you want, and it might sound very cool.. Experiment away! It just wont sound like a traditional organ. Watch the demo video - not a single bent note. No pitch wheel on a B9.

    Sold!

    Ship it!

If I can get three of those presets to work like that it's way worth seven mallards!

Can't wait for the church organ preset through the Neo Vent.

Did your teacher ever listen to Barney Kessel, Charlie Christian or Django?
