El cheapo Telecaster case

    After buying the inexpensive Donner semi-hollow Telecaster (only about $140) I was looking for an inexpensive hard case. On a website I saw this used case. I called them and they confirmed a Tele would fit. The case and shipping was a whopping $15! It's an el-cheapo...but hey...it works.

    Looks like my first Strat case. Bought it from my first guitar teacher 35 years ago. Still have it.
    The beauty of that case is the possibility of black duct tape repairs in the future.

    There used to be a pile of those chipboard cases for $10 each at String Shoppe on N high st in Columbus.

    Memories.....


    If the part that supports the neck is a chunk of raw wood, cover it with something so it doesn't gouge the neck.
