Oh hey! More questions for the choir

Looking at a used Egnator tweaker 12" cab to go with a little Micro Terror 20W Orange head

The Egnator cab is ~$150 used (I think they want 179, but theyre 250 new- I think I can get them to come down a bit)

Any experience with the Egnator tweaker sound? I have not had a chance to pair them yet-

Looking for a great rich clean sound with the ability to deliver some crunch:breakup that is harmonically good

I plan on stepping the preamp tube down from the 12ax7 to the 12ay7 or even 12au7- probably try them all- see which tube yields best tone for cab etc

Any thoughts on the Egnator cab? Is that a good price?

They got a good Celestion g12h-30 speaker in them. My buddy has the 1x12 combo and u really like the sounds I can get from it. If you don't like that speaker, you could probably get $75 for it and try another speaker.

The tones I got on the Tweeker combo where like Marshall cleans and a fat overdriven tone with humbuckers

I have the tweaker head/cab. It's hard to make it sound bad, if I'm honest. It's not the heavenly tone people talk about with boutique/vintage stuff but it makes a damn nice bit of noise.

I use 2x12 Celestion Golds for important gigs but when I get called for a local bar gig I grab my Tweaker 1x12 cab and though it doesn't sound the same as the Gold's, they do sound really good.
