Effect (treble boost) slowly fades in once activated. What should I do?

Hey guys,

First post here. I recently completed the design and wiring of a modified treble booster (based off the classic 'Rangemaster' circuit) effects pedal. After having spent months of design and specific component selection / arrangement, the pedal sounds phenomenal! Along with the addition of an illuminous red LED indicator, this thing really "glows" and is a great boost / overdrive effect. The only error / minor nuance of the pedal is that once it's activated, the effect slowly fades in (takes about 1 - 2 seconds for the effect to come to full volume). Does anyone know what might be causing this?

mmhmm
One of mine does that. I replaced the electrolytic caps and it did not help. I am going to try a new transistor next when I have a chance. Sorry it's no help but just want to say you're not the only one.
