Eddy was a game changer for me when I discovered him in the early to mid 90s. Great player and a big influence on me when I moved over to playing country.

He does around here. TDRPI folks seem to hold him in pretty high regard (with which I greatly agree). He is one of my faves.

Just found out about him thru a Charlie Starr interview by Otis Gibbs. Immediately went and looked him up. I've been a Shaver fan for years, but didn't know about Eddy's guitar playing. Wow.

And he played a STRAT?!?!??!
