I only recently found out that Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam was a Tele player. He's got several unique instruments. I did some research (including on this page) to learn about one of his more famous instruments and found it was basically a partscaster. That inspired me to build a replica. Here's a link to my playlist showing the first two in a series on how I'm building it. You can follow along and build the same thing.

He’s had some really cool Teles over the years. Mike and Stone also have some very cool vintage Teles. The Yield album is pretty tele heavy, and there’s a version of their song MFC, I think from a live show at the Gorge, where all 3 guitarists are playing vintage black guards.

Life in Pearl Jam must be pretty good... and they’ve earned it.
