Strongly considering one of these. If it happens I will be selling a sweet 000-28 to fund my drone itch.

Looks like my kind of guitar. I haven't played it but every Eastman that I have played has impressed me.

I've considered this one, too (or a CEO-7, or Gibson L-00). My GAS is under control at the moment, but one of these three will likely be mine at some point.

Can't quite imagine giving up a 000-28 for it, though. I'd see the Eastman as a compliment to it, not a replacement. They occupy very different sonic niches.

Regardless of which of the three I eventually end up with, my 00-28 ain't goin' nowhere!

They’re great, consistent and moderately priced guitars!
    I used to sell em’.

Only you know what suits your needs. But I kind of agree with fishermike. I'd have a hard time giving up a Martin 000-28 for almost any guitar. But as a complement, the Eastman would be terrific.

He's selling the 000-28 to buy a drone and a less expensive guitar. Emphasis on drone. If you take that angle, it makes sense.

I have the E10P, but after playing a Gibby L-1, the E10 OOSS/v would be the next one for me. It is somehow just the right shape for the Delta bluesy sounds that I love. My Parlor's ebony fretboard makes a unique tone that crosses the Gibby and the Martin to my ears. Perhaps a touch "modern" compared to the old blues boxes. I have had mine for a few years now and the sound is really maturing nicely. Absolutely fantastic (and unbeatable) for the price.

    Signed,
