I'm planning to work on Resurrection Power by Tomlin, and have found a great playlist on Spotify called Easter Worship 2018 from Worship Together. Some good new and recent releases that would work well for Easter.

Amongst other songs we're doing, I'm most excited by these:

We're doing Death Was Arrested for Easter also. We've been purposefully moving away from Hillsong and Bethel and have been doing a lot of North Point songs.

Easter - meaning the season? Or meaning the one day that all the "members" show up?

If the latter, old warhorses or popular pieces are a better idea... I just started lent, so I'm not remembering anything right now. I'll keep the request in mind.

I’ve not seen any lists from out WL as yet but assume we’ll stick with the same choices as previous years. Would be good to introduce some newer ones... we’ll end up doing a few of these:

See what a morning Stuart Townsend. Once again Matt redman. Happy day Tim Hughes. When I survey the wonderful cross

We are doing "Gotta Give Him Glory" Planetshakers for opener and following it up with "Glorious Day" Kristian Stanfill/Passion. Not sure yet whats after that. Last year we opened with "Rez Power" Israel and The New Breed.

Here is a REALLY cool song from Luke Wood at IHOP that lends itself well to an Easter set. Been doing this song with several groups for a while now and plan to use it in our Easter set this year.

First listen I thought this was mopey/dopey...
    but...
Third time in, I got it.
    We are playing it.
We have no keys, but, planning a wind/stone rolling/ keys interlude.
Expecting it to be the biggest thing we do.

In hind sight, I probably should have avoided writing that bit, even though it is true. Theology is out of bounds for discussion here, but all the reasons are found in that word. So really, probably would have been better avoided on this board.

North Point Worship has put out some interesting stuff, from a purely musical perspective. It is interesting to our group because it has a different sound than the other aforementioned groups, which is also a big positive, at least to me. Chock the musical side of things up to personal preference.

One that have used on solo fingerstyle guitar a few times. Got to be careful though in the wrong setting they might just crucify YOU! Ministry I worked for many years ago was the road crew for John Michael and Terry Talbot's band the Mason Prophet Band so seen him play this live many times.
