Up in the fifth floor , a sharp shock, then some extended swaying of some note.
I alway get a rush during earthquakes, my heart beat faster, it's exciting.

I went through the east coast earthquake. It seemed like the world was going to end. I wasn't really scared but awed. A girl I was sitting next to clutched me like she was going to die!

Thursday is 30 years since the Loma Prieta quake. I remember it well. Had to rebuild my house. I look straight at Loma Prieta (the mountain) from my living room window.

I'm in the East Bay too. It was definitely strong here. It felt like a truck hit my house.

That's one thing I don't envy about the left coast. Love it out there but. We had that fairly big one in 2011, the walls in my office looked a little wavy, and my old boss nearly had a heart attack. I guess surviving that one was a fun experience. But that's it for me! Stay safe.

the quake is the result of the niners being 5-0...too many people jumping around with excitement causing the tremors
