I like this Alex Lifeson and not the one that needs 21 guitars to do an album, first album still my favorite, RIP John Rutsey,
Rush came to San Antonio every time they toured, and we went to every concert!! Early Rush that is,,, ;-)
so that's how you trill,
That poor announcer will live forever on the Internet in that blazer.
glad to hear that, they played a lot of high schools and hockey arena's up here in canada, I got to a show in Port Huron, Michigan during the 2112 tour back in the 1970's,
I saw them on their Signals tour a long time ago . . . uh, high school. Saw them again for another tour, but can't remember the album Fun shows.
I agree !
Thanks for sharing this
I enjoyed their albums up until All the worlds a stage .
The first one is my favorite by far !
Check out the Beyond The Footlights docco, plenty of footage down the years there
I'm not a fan of the first Rush album save for a couple of songs, but I really enjoyed this.
They sound great live, John Rutsey was a great drummer too.
I just think it's cool that a HS had a hard rock band Concert ( never mind that it was the ' great-to-be...' Rush!) for their kids in the Auditorium!
These guys really believed in each other and their music.
I like this John Rutsey and not the one that needs 21 drums to do a show!
Thanks for posting the early Rush video
