Yep that covers a lot of them... lol. Also, the photography on that website you linked is pretty amazing!

Queen - although the caption says 1970, I think it is 1971, since Deacon (on bass) didn't join until then.

No pics here, but the early Allman Bros. photos reminded me of a conversation that I had with a friend a few months ago. He mentioned that when he went to high school on St. Simons Island, GA, a little known, but supposedly up and coming band from Macon played at his prom. You guessed it. The Allman Bros. I asked him what it was like to see a young Duane play and his reply was that the band was pretty much unheard of at that time and nobody really paid them much attention or really grasped the depth of what they were listening to.

I've snarfed up more pictures of individual guitar players than bands, but here's a few:

Bernie with Flying Burrito Brothers (were they ever a "young band"?)

This one always garners some discussion the way JB stacked his Marshall cabs.
Also taken at Pirate's World, Dania, Fl, 68 or 69 era.

I am lovin' this thread - but want to point out one thing:

Both of the ABB pics show Duane with a burst, so that means the pics are from 1971. Not ''early'' in a true sense. Their early shows are poorly documented, sadly. If you can find a pic of them performing with Duane playing a 335, you've found gold.

Here's a pic of them in the studio, Duane's on his goldtop so it's 69 or 70.

I got to see Aerosmith in the Wayland High School gym, 1973, great show! I was going to try to sneak in because I didn't have the $2 for a ticket. I looked down and I actually found a ticket in the lawn in front of the school!

Not actually the ABB, but Duane and Gregg, a few years "earlier." :)

For a short while they were billed as The Jug-Eared Band.
