A friend of mine offered me this Dynachord SA 16, probably not working, for free.
he found it on the street a couple of months ago. was gonna fix it up but it was too much of a headache, and he needs his space back.

since I'm the best Amp tech in town and have lots of money to burn...NOT!
....
is this a good idea for me to try to resurect this 1958-1961 era amp?

but man, it looks so awesome

Looks like special input adapters would be needed, or you'd need to swap them out for more traditional 1/4" plugs. Guitar and Accordian inputs. Do you have the schematic? It certainly looks cool.

I kow these DIN inputs when I plugged my first guitar into Dad's Grundig Radio- but I'd rather have 1/4inch plugs.
I haven't yet found the schematics, still searching.

some cool links though:

Here, there and everywhere
DIN connectors are a pain to work on and flimsy, and they WILL break down at the earliest opportunity. Replace with conventional 1/4" jacks and we'll all be happy ever after, including the owner!
