    Sweetwater has them (no affiliation).

I have a mini germanium FF and love it. I expect to be seeing the Eric Johnson mini soon, unless of course the smaller enclosure affects Eric's tone. :D

Cute! Right after they release the original 3 units of the mini FF line there were rumors about an EJ version... must be coming out soon now that they have the Bonamassa.

I'm thinking about DIY'ing one of those soon...

As long as this threads started I'll go ahead and ask. Does anybody know if the Joe B Mini Fuzz Face sounds decent when used with Humbuckers?

I have the mini Hendrix model. I love the little sucker. Puts a nice edge on top of extreme. Joe is great but I've never attached him to a signature sound. More so signature style.

I think this FF is supposed to excel with HBs. Maybe our artdecade will chime in. I think he has the Joe B wah and FF.

Anybody want to discuss the sound quality of the Joe B. FF and Humbuckers?

I have the original copper JB FuzzFace. It excels with humbuckers. It's supposedly tuned specifically for humbuckers.

The cool thing about the Joe B FF is the super low output Russian transistors. So even something like a mild PAF, which will typically just drive a FF to 'Fartville' will sound 'okay.'

Now - whatever your subjective opinion of okay is, I can't say. But JB plays Gibbies, and he signed off on this thing. So I'd say there's at least a 50/50 chance you'll be happy with it...at least for a little while.

If you see the ad photo for the Mini Fuzz Face line, you can clearly see a mini FF in the EJ colour so I'm sure they're releasing it at some point.

As a Strat guy, that one's more relevant to my interests than the JB FF. ;)

    Hello, Nurse! ;)

Then again, it'll have to be pretty special to replace my Dream Catcher.

Thank you telefunken and 11 Gauge! I was just coming back to report that I had been spammed by someone selling Joe B swag and along with a $199 strat shaped toilet seat they were selling the mini FF saying it was desigined for HBs.

So, YAY!!! an excuse to buy another fuzz and I can get over this new years thing that has saved me a small fortune so far. Watch for the NPD threads coming soon!
