Since I got my Gibson Les Paul Special I’ve been mostly neglecting my Strat, but a couple of nights ago we did a jam and the both of us had a great time!

    Howdy wyldelife....

    Great chops....sounds damn good.
I'm only guessing, but is that strat a bit lighter than the LP. :)

    Well done....

The Les Paul he has is a Special. They’re pretty light. A slab of mahogany with P90s. No maple top.

Nice. A Gibby and a Strat can be friends.

gotta ask, is that a fluffy butterfly teepee?

    Thank you so much, guys!
The Les Paul Special is roughly the same weight! the shape of the two guitars make them very different standing up, but they’re both very comfortable.
This Strat has a very special place in my heart and it’s a forever guitar for sure!
Thanks again for all the kind and encouraging words!
