    I woke up with Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" playing on the turntable in my head except it was Stevie Nicks' same singing but it was to a slightly hip hop kind of beat and it sounded so cool.

    If I was a real musician, I'd duplicate this but, alas, I am not.

    Here's the song in its original form, though.



    So, if I looked up different versions of this and found a hip hop version, does it make my dream precognitive or self fulfilling?

    I played Bass on Dreams at my first gig/concert...in front of the whole school/parents/teachers...

    The Bass kid in my school band had to go away to camp and I only had one practice run through of 3 songs with them beforehand,,,...

    thinking Mc Vie might be playing something fancy I looked up the tab.... huh? he's just paying F to G most of the time... is that all ?... easy way to make a living, I thought...:lol:

    we played FM Dreams/ neon trees Animal and Roar KP..... winged it without my cheat sheet and aced it....even remembered the little bass bridge in Roar as the others toned down.... I was terrified I'd mess up and spoil the kids gig...

    a Dream fulfilled... playing in a band live for a big crowd.... the most awesome feeling ever...:)

    Nice.Never saw that before.Sco looked and sounded a little out of place at first but it came together pretty well.Nice to see him with the Tele.Thanks.

    It and FM are such good albums. Really quality stuff. If I had written any of those songs and not another one during my entire life, I would consider myself a success.

    Just had to say... Ahh, but of course it's the way he plays the "simple" bass lines, with groove, sustain on some notes, stops on others, anticipating/leading into the down beats, etc. (of course you know that :cool::D) I was playing Rhiannon with my son, teaching him the bass line and main guitar part, and it's amazing the amount of subtle things in their work. Wouldn't it be great if more new music had musicianship and craftsmanship like this...
