Now in critical state of GAS!!!

FINALLY, an amp that can get THE sound in 15 seconds or less!!!!! My life would have been radically different if this had been around 25 years ago.

So all I need is this amp and a bunch of pedals?

From what I can tell from the video, I'd dig that amp quite a bit.

A cool sound but it sounds a bit like a one trick pony...? What if you just want clean rich sound without the fuzzgrit on some songs? A wider tone pallet?

The demos I saw on the Dr. Z site were, well, meh. It sounds great with a pedal in front of it, but I think it needs a few pedals to bring it alive, sooooo, expensive?

Then again, what do I know. I don't even own a tube amp.

I still haven’t bought one, yet. The Cure, Maz 8, and Mini-Z are also calling my name.

Depends on what you are trying to do. I have a Micawber Tele and a Jetta would be perfect for that. It just nails THAT sound. Probably not great by itself beyond that, but it’s a big part of my playing.

My problem is that I’m all over the map. The Jetta nails the sound for a Micawber, a Cure is great for Teles, Strats, buckers, and P90s, and a Maz would be perfect for the Rics (I have a 620 and 360). And a Mini just kicks butt regardless (although has no clean headroom).

In a perfect world, all four would be doable. However, I can’t justify all three. Heck, I can’t really justify one.

I've been considering getting one. I love my Z-28 but there are some days when I think a master volume would be nice to have.
