Wilko like a mad cuckoo poking out of the clock and Lee Brilleaux on the edge of an alcoholic breakdown projectile puke, but he controls it, he is a pro. The Big Figure and John B. Sparks keeping it together. What's not to like?

Great rock band... Wilko's technique and dance moves are amazing.

Saw Wilko at Sheffield Uni around late 1970s, along with Ian Dury and the Blockheads.... fine times....

Saw him with the Solid Senders ‘80s. Classic. But I never dug the HH combo tone. Nasty, brittle thing. Great playing made up for it.

First band I ever saw live. Fantastic. Everyone always talks about Wilko, but Lee Brilleaux was something else.

And contender for the best R&B rhythm section ever.
