The Stampeders toured Sweet City Woman ('73 or '74) with this one, but it's kind of a Strat 6/12. Seeing them live at a distance I thought it was a Tele/banjo combination...

John McLaughlin played a couple in the Mahavishnu Orchestra. I always liked this one (Rex Bogue?)

I thought he was over it, but I just saw this!

Yeah, he originally played the SG.

    It's ridiculous.

I've always had a hankering for a double neck SG though. I think Epiphone make a cheapish plywood one with bolt on necks. But the thought of changing all those strings puts me off.

Looking at the craigslist pic, I see the two are not the same! One is an Esquire. So this double neck has got versatility going for it.

How 'bout this version of the Gibson double 12, I'm not even 100% sure it's a double 12, it could be a double 6. Note that BOTH necks have trapezoid markers instead of double parallelograms!

Not sure it makes sense. Strat and Tele maybe, bass and Tele maybe... etc

I babysat a friend's double neck Cort when he was in basic training. What a beast.

The only double neck I have ever been close to tempted by was a Danelectro 6/12. Weighed less than the Les Paul I tried at the same time. Masonite for the win!
