    The next tele I get built will be similar. i really love the fact the pups are attached directly to the body.

    I have the spalted maple one. It has its issues, namely a hard-to-set-up-correctly neck, a really flat radius, and questionable pickup choices, but it's a cool guitar and it was my first Telecaster, which inspired me to build a partscaster so I could have a "real" Telecaster (which I promptly "ruined" but throwing out the Fender bridge pickup and replacing it with a SD Hot Lead Stack).
