I'm a real sucker for a double bound Surf Green Tele with a maple neck. Reminds me of summer time and beach cottages.

If it's Fender, it should be maple. Sorry. I love the look, feel and sound of a maple neck. Of course this is only IMO and I am usually wrong.

Here's my modified CVC. CVC body, Bigsby with cut out ashtray bridge, Seymour Duncan Hot Lead, Dimarzio mini humbucker, GFS pickguard and a CV50s neck.

To me, there is nothing prettier than a double (or single) bound Telecaster with a maple neck. Just look...

Hey man, what's the color of the green double bound telecaster? Could you send me more pics if i give you my email adress? If no (or yes) could you tell me if this one is in chartreuse sparkle... I dont think so cuz it's not sparkling but still its the only color looking like this one

You could always turn it into a stealth Esquire, which has a neck pickup buried under the pickguard. Nearly all Esquires have the front pickup routing in any case, so it's just a matter of buying a pickup with enough power to get through the pickguard.

And yes, bound bodies with maple necks are dead sexy.

Peter Case's Thinline was double-bound (even the F-holes!) and had a maple neck:
