Both guitars have Don Mare pups, the burst has Hayrides and the Rocket has his " Joel Foy " set. The Rocket also has bridge, saddles, and string ferrules from Glendale.

And I e never had any issues with the binding cutting into my arm. This is actually the first time Ive heard that.

No sorry, the color is Ocean Turquoise....and another no for me, the binding doesn't bother me in the least, never has. The Rocket is special to me because of what I had to do to get the rocket picture converted into a water slide decal....I had this idea in my head for a long time. It turned out way better than I ever expected, I love this guitar, it's totally me....

Well, people get too fancy about Telecasters...at the end of the day, it's a modular, bolt-on neck guitar, which means you can choose the neck you prefer.

There in lies the beauty of Fender Stuff. I have never bought and kept a Fender stock. They are a modders dream. Though lots of people love theirs, the concept of a "Standard" model is completely lost on me.

A year or so ago I joked on here about the binding on my Elite digging into my arm and was basically told to “grow a pair” — so I shut up about it! Anyway whatever that feeling in my arm is when I play my Tele but not my Jazzmaster... doesn’t worry me at all.
