    ...hi

So, this kid is really smart. If you picture a mad/genius scientist at 60 or 70 and you wonder what he was like when he was a kid... this is that guy.

He has a theory that the CERN super collider and the Mandela effect are related. He thinks CERN destroyed our universe when they ran the experiment and we (some of us) were absorbed into a parallel universe. See, some alternate universes are very close together. I mean, REALLY close together. The further an alternate universe is from another alternate universe, the more differences there are. There are infinite alternate universes because everything that has happened, is happening or will happen is doing so in an alternate universe.

Does anyone here remember that Mandela died in prison in 1980? Or that "Magic Mirror On The Wall" used to be "Mirror Mirror On The Wall"? Or that The Berenstein Bears used to be The Berenstine Bears? Maybe someone, besides me, remembers Runaway James (the greatest American band of all time) or the Beatles last album "Forever And A Day"?

What if every weird creature that has ever been seen and reported but never proven is actually a temporary visitor from an alternate universe? What if, when you dream, your mind somehow connects to the alternate you in an alternate universe...

WARNING... Once you watch this, you can't un-watch it...

It all sounds like a lot of caca to me. Besides the Beatle album title that sounded slightly familiar.

The greatest force in the universe is the human power of self-delusion.

So ... Man-Bear-Pig actually exists. Now I'm concerned.

IMO this child has listened to too many whacko adults.

Haven’t heard the bit about CERN destroying the universe, but the rest is a basic premise of the show Rick & Morty (which debuted a few years before this vid).

The kid is just regurgitating wacky theories he read online. He didnt come up with any of that, and it's all been online well before Rick & morty. However, I'm pretty sure the universe is just a big wad of temporal silly putty, Cern or not.

This is like when the earth blew up a couple years ago and they put us all on a space ship to new earth and decided not to tell all the stupid people because they couldn’t handle it ... oh... wait a minute

Didn’t mean to imply that the idea was original to Rick & Morty; just pointing out that it was already established in pop culture. The concept of infinite alternate universes goes back several decades.

He was just on a major network show. This kid is an anomaly. A genius int the true sense of the word. I thought this was tame compared to his talk to a room full of scientists talking nuclear fission. He stupefied others in the field that have been study for years.

must be true, I had that exact conversation in 1977, in October at the first annual Halloweed event sponsored by Mitch Yount and his roommates...

we were watching 'the last days of pompei' with the sound off and had a hank crawford "Tico Rico" on the stereo... so, yeah... good stuff...

the ideas were first really written about in the 50's by a guy named Hugh Everett... look him up..
