Hell yez. Catch 'em up, baby!
SYZs were the Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In version of snack food.
Did I miss something? WHy is this in the past tense?
best i have been able to determine, the word "troll" as used frequently on the internet means "a person who posts a fact or opinion i don't like and who disagrees with me in some way".
so is my reply here "trolling"?
You didn't like my cruise control post?
Are you kidding?? It’s a hall of famer!!!
This isn't really troll behavior, or at least in the way I understand it. A troll is first of all, insincere, and troll behavior would typically be to drop into a thread, say something controversial or incendiary and then disappear.
The people who get whipped up over the Beatles, what really is a Fender guitar, or "tonewood" usually hang around and fight to the last breath. That's not trolling, its just a strong opinion.
I meant that trolling is tempting because of them, not that they are the trolls.
Oh, I see. That makes sense. I can't help but drop a Beatle reference whenever I chime in on a @blowtorch thread, so yeah, I understand the temptation. Ha.
If they’re in the barn when I stumble out there all bleary-eyed in the morning, before the coffee maker is even turned on, they get fed.
I’m not awake enough during morning animal feeding operations to tell a troll from the rest of the critters.
I know the local raccoons often line up for chow with the barn cats. I just feed them. I’m still too close to sleep to figure out anything else. I think they believe themselves to be cats now or something.
I found this dust bunny hiding in a ghost thread
Though I greatly resemble one, I’m too tall.
Just as ugly.
Trolls are boring.
i disagree with that opinion and the fact is it's not a matter of not liking it it's a matter of you being wrong so the truth real fact is the troll does it on purpose there's a difference
When I do it, I don't call it trolling. I call it having a laugh. What do you mean it's not funny? Sounds like a you problem.
I encountered a troll here just this week on a thread I started that is now deleted, largely because he (I am assuming it was a guy) made it so toxic. It stinks, because TDPRI has usually been such a friendly respite from the general toxicity of the web; hope it was a fluke.
The only thing I've trolled for is Tuna.
Ha- That's Hunderfossen
I'm a little bit trollish, ever so occasionally (don't mention Prince/Sting/Phil Collins/Mesa Boogie+Randall Smith - covers most of my pet peeves to troll about).
