I want to know if there are identifying marks on a don mare pickup that would denote model etc.

This is supposed to be a don mare Joel Foy bridge pup. How can I be sure?

Looks like a DM product. Maybe he can tell you the model, esp if you can give him a ohm reading.

I was hoping the 807 meant something, but the website doesn't have anything with that #.
I'll measure the ohm thing and keep looking thanks.

He usually always scribes the model name and a number with the ohm reading. I've bought a bunch of pickups from him and all have had those identifying designations.

Although not associated with the particular topic of this post, Don Mare makes fantastic pickups for Tele's and Strat's.

I know because I purchased and use them in my guitars.
