It falls on Saturday this year. Independence Day.

I'm pretty sure there will be fireworks (unofficial) and The Macy's
    Show is on Saturday evening.

Maybe a social distanced music jam Saturday afternoon.

How about you, any plans yet?

Would be my Dad's 99th birthday. He was in the Invasion of Normandy at Omaha Beach. We will be spending the day at my sis-in-law's place on the lake, and I'll be remembering my Dad.

I've got a rack of ribs coming in my grocery order this afternoon. Gonna BBQ.

    That's about it.

My son has bought enough fireworks to start a small war. I guess he will be shooting those off. Time to put in ear plugs....

Staying in the house as far away from people as possible like we've been doing since March.
Plus Gettysburg will be having fireworks and we can stand in our driveway and watch them if we want to.

Going to the cabin. The neighbors across the water spend a **** ton on fireworks.

    Happy American Independence Day!

July 1st was dead quiet here. Fireworks and everything else cancelled. I grilled a red & white dinner (salmon and potatoes) and we finished with a red & white desert (rhubarb pie and vanilla ice cream).

I never eat anything but chicken or fish so I might go get me a nice steak to grill. That’s about it. Oh yeah I’ll share some with the dog.

I have a trio band Brewpub gig Saturday PM ( not late), that I kind of wish I didn't have.

Then burgers and dogs ( corn, potato salad) dinner at home with family.

THEN, spend the rest of the night calming down yellow laby Lucy, from fireworks noise- she HATES them, makes her so anxious, upset.

Im kind of 'humbug' anymore about July 4th!

Maybe burn up something on the grille, drinking some beer and maybe completing a project or two.
    Pretty much like every weekend...

Our city is having fireworks from a safe location, with no people in attendence. Sounds weird, but they're having them at a place where most folks in the city should be able to see...
