On its way down as it's falling out? Sure. Kidding...sort of...
I had long hair most of my adult life.
1977 & 1995...
...2001, 2002...
I ain't no danged hippie. This was actually my Halloween costume in 2010...
BTW, this is how I dressed for a Halloween gig at a seniors community in 2019. It was and still is the scariest costume I can possibly imagine...
I've used my beard and hair length and hair color (or lack thereof), for other holiday looks as well. Below is my wife and me with the Ft. Worth based band Green River Ordinance on my birthday (Veteran's Day) in 2015, sporting my "Uncle Sam, the later years" look...
...and of course, this...
...and Father Time from "auld lang sine" (2009/10)...
But as you can see, over the years my hairline has made a "balderdash," and my part's getting wider. I still have hair on the top of my head (albeit thinner), but in March of last year, I admitted defeat and let my wife cut my hair and trim my beard..
But I still am not comfortable with unnatural acts like haircuts (or shaving, obviously), so I've only let her trim me up once since then, and that was a while ago now. Maybe my new tradition will be a "spring shearing." Anyway, here I am as of 3 weeks ago, with my hair doing its best to once again touch my shoulders.

I'm blessed to still have a thick head of hair in my 40s so I still wear it long. While it isn't shoulder length, it does cover my ears and reach my chin. I usually wear it back, out of my face. I get regular cuts as to keep it somewhat professional looking when needed.

I cut mine to shoulder length when I got out of college and went looking for a job. Got one. Before I started the boss said, "Get a haircut."

My hair has never touched my shoulders, but it has covered by big ears. This was well over 40 years ago.
I still have my hair. One of my sons is grayer than I am, and the other one's hair has receded more than mine.

Since the virus that is banned here , I have made Locks of Love a personal goal . After that , it will be back to every 6 months whether I need it or not .

grew mine out one last time about 5-6 years ago, had a pretty good length. Asked if I could donate it to wigs for kids and was told my hair was too fine to donate, the ends were too damaged. Got it cut and been keeping it short since. Once it was nearly to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Now once it starts touching my ears and falling on my forehead when I wash my face, I'm anxious to get it cut again.

Since that which shall not be named happened and the fact I’m to isolate from the closed environment and cute little germ bombs I haven’t cut it. Not folicaly challenged nor to I have any safety restraints or social responsibilities. It’s now about 4” below my shoulders.
