Does this truss rod nut on my new Tele look strange to you?

    I actually don't have any issues with the vintage style tuners and actually really like them. I just personally like to have them on my guitars.

    Yes the red Vintera 50s Tele! The other one is a Squier Mustang HH project I'm working on. I have a Warmoth Mustang neck I've been treating with Tru Oil that is going on it soon.

    The split shaft tuners are simply the best. Just keep them in place and forget any ideas of locking tuners.
