It only works if you cut the bacon into bits.

Your thread is making me hungry for a BLT, but not for a salad. Does that help?

I've called Subway "Salad Sandwich" for over 3 decades. I got to the point I stopped getting the "add ons" just so I could taste something besides bread and lettuce and salad dressing (mayo). Even their waxy white tomatoes have zero flavor to add to the product.

I haven't stopped at a Subway for at least 7 years now.

Yes without question, it's almost just exactly like eating a salad. In fact, we had bacon, lettuce, tomato, and sliced turkey breast sandwiches, with sliced cheese for supper along with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I can with all assurance tell you, that a Vegan wouldn't have had a fuller stomach if they had eaten a freshly skinned twenty five pound coconut!

There once was a man who didn't have any dishes,
so he put his salad between two pieces of bread.

    The end.

I know that you know just about everything, but sliced turkey breast it what you're supposed to put on a BLT, not the whole damned turkey! I don't blame you for not liking to pick feathers out of your teeth after supper! Oh, wait, you meant that hideous stuff they try to pass off as bacon made of of turkey guts and stuff they sweep up of the processing room floor. Never mind.:oops:

What if you put it in a blender is it still a “salad” because it is made of said ingredients?

I like a salad to keep me diverted until the meat and potatoes arrives. The closest I get to a BLT these days, is a Turkey Club with extra bacon from my local - they always have fresh actual turkey - Although animal slurries certainly have their place

Some people like to think that if you just pretending when saying something stupid, it doesn't count as stupid.

    They're wrong.

I'd say it's eating vegetables but don't try to dress it up as healthy. Vegetables are good for us but would a piece of lettuce still be healthy if it had be rolled in an oil and sugar mix.

A BLT will have some nutrients we need in the veg but that doesn't mean we'd all be healthy if we ate all our 5 a day between 2 slices of bread with some bacon.

If you think about it, a steak is a salad.

    Salads are green.
    Grass is green.
    Cows eat grass.
    Steak comes from cows.

    Therefore, steak is salad.

Dang, I’d be a popular nutritionist!

To the OP. Yes it does.
Agree with another poster, always fry enough bacon for TWO of them.
Nothing like fresh home grown tomatoes with a pinch of salt on each slice, crispy crispy bacon and Hellman's mayo on white bread with a pile of garden salad. OH............and a large glass of cold whole milk.
    :)
