Finally the first low humidity day in nj... when it gets really hot and humid out I don't play my guitar...I hate sticky strings and a sticky neck...plus I'm scared to death of the neck warping.

It's all relative. Snow means skiing for me. I'm already jonesing for winter!

Hot weather is my least favourite kind, if I can't be in the water. Today is a break, though, 18C and rain. We really need the rain.

I hate extended cold weather. I hate Winter.

I like Summer best, but Spring and Fall have good weather days too.

I can always find stuff to do both inside and out in any weather. But I like warm sunny weather the best, it gives me the most options.

Here is too hot, and too humid. That'd be OK(ish) if it was't for work...

The past couple of days have mostly found me watching the lightning tracker sites, seeing nice big violent storms head towards us, and then vanish into the ether just before they get near us.

When I lived in England, I never thought I would ever miss rain. I was very wrong. Right now, I'd kill for a shower. Not too much, just a couple of inches or so. I'm not greedy.

Something seems slightly amiss here. Given the physical properties you, yourself, use to describe your physical statue and the desire to ski seem at odds. Perhaps you are actually built along the lines of Brad Pitt when he stared in the movie Troy as Achilles. Are you often confused with him when you're out and about?

I snowball can easily roll down hill. My skiing is based on that: be the snowball.

Nope. It doesn't make me crazy.

Being under 30 years old and having personally experienced the 15 hottest years on record, and likely to experience the top 30 in the next 30 years... I'd better not let bad weather make me crazy.

Well, we have two seasons here. Summer and maybe 4 weeks of Winter. And..........rain, rain, and rains varying from straight torrential downpours to sideways with high winds. Flooding and mud are common. Patio is a mess not likely straightened out for months to come but thank God I didn't lose my home and vehicles like so many have recently.

    Makes my wife totally nuts!!!
    But me?
After walking around rail yards for 26 years, unless I'm struck by lighting, then I'm not bothered much at all by bad weather.

Verifiable. More shootings and crime in big cities, particularly Chicago, when it's epically hot.

Particularly Chicago?! Is that because the weather is worse there... or the other thing?

I don't know about any "other thing" but upticks in shootings and gun violence occur in Chicago, in the Summer, and it rightfully makes national news. Shootings and gun violence in Chicago tend not to be significant enough in any other season to make the news. So... The bad weather (aka-heat) really does seem to contribute to some craziness, to circle back, and keep this on-point to the OPs original question in the title.

When it's in the 90's and the air feels like a wet blanket, that's too hot for me to go out in. It's 24x7 AC in the house and car and wherever I'm going. I can take a walk in the rain and snow and freezing weather, but not in extreme heat and humidity.

On hot days, Harley won't go for a walk until sunset. If you try to take him out earlier, he'll lie on the lawn in protest and refuse to get up. Smart dog!
