i used the one in my sfbm until it started getting fritzy. you could here the tube switching on and off. soooo, for the price of getting my amp fixed, i now have a tuna melt, a rogue, and that ggg e.a. tremolo with the preamp. i go back and forth between the e.a. and the rogue. the tuna stays home usually, or gets used for vocals when we're feeling trippy. plus, it's one less wire running back to my amp. (the one for my footswitch)

and yes, i use it. i play in a garage band with alot of surfy type guitar sounds.

nice clip bingy, that is what it's all about for me. yes, I use trem nearly 60% of the time...it is just part of my tone really. The trem on my Princeton (non reverb) is good for me. now excuse me, while I go learn that lovely melody and chords...

Either Brian or Keith, but I think Brian Jones, introduced me to tremolo with "Mona" on one of the Stones first LPs. The Bo Diddly beat sounds perfect with tremolo on that song.

For me it's one of those effects that really demands using it in the right place. It can stand out, or be a distraction, depending on where and when.

I use it a whole lot. Most of the time when I am going for bright chimey sounds I use light tremolo and it just sings! I am really going for this sound with a group I am playing currently because it goes so well with the songs we are doing which are mostly original tunes.

Oh man...I use a splash of it in just about all my model settings for that extra something that it just gives to the sound. Then of course..I have a setting with full blown Trem for some of the classics that are known for it ..and some that are not ;)

    Beauty.

I didn't think I'd be into tremolo much, but thought that it would be cool to mess around with when I got an AC30... the result was that I starting incorporating it into tunes right away. I also starting feeling like I wanted more out of it and that it wasn't flexible enough! Now that I don't have that amp, and my new one is trem-less, I'm out to get a pedal. Topping my list is the Diamond Tremolo.

Love it. Finally getting the chance to use my Boss TR-2 in a new musical project. GASing after an amp with trem though.

Wow, sounds like I need to find a footswitch and give it a try!

If I wired a set of RCA plugs together and plugged them in to the jacks, would that let me test the circuit on a BFSR?

Got a small alligator clip? Just clip the vib foot switch jack with it - half inside/half out.

Alright, I really need to learn to use tremolo now. I love The Smiths.

I like tremolo; vibrato, not so much.

    I love it.

It's on half the time on my DRRI or Princeton RI.

I have a BBE Tremor and Dano Cool Cat Trem for my tube amps that don't have Tremolo.

The Dano Cool Cat Tremolo Pedal has the Square Wave switch so you can get the dramatic waiver like in The Smiths video above.

    I love it.

Clean tone without trem is like fries without salt.

Shallow trem is part of my standard clean sound.

But deep trem can wreck the attack of the note if your picking and trem are out of sync.

To me this seems like a pretty obvious solution to see if you like Tremelo or not. The first time I plugged into a Fender amp with Tremelo, my life was changed forever... I finally knew what I had been missing. I don't use it a whole lot, but its great to have when needed. The band I'm in we play After Dark by Tito and the Tarantula... the song just doesn't work w/o Trem.
