Does anyone like to record themselves playing on video?

I've been using my phone to record demos to send my writing buddy and session players, but my phone gets filled up very quick. Anyone have any other good options in mind? Recording some videos for some live gigs or in the studio would cool aswell.

I don't like recording myself but I should do it more often to get a better idea of what I sound like from a listeners perspective and pick up on any weird traits I may have while playing.

The best results I have had when recording video of playing has been with a Olympus pcm ls20. A zoom type of gadget that records HD video too. It's especially good for quick recording of acoustic playing. I bought it about 7 years ago so they should be cheap if they still make them.

IMG_20191116_165012663.jpg I use a small camcorder that uses an SD card. I get hours and it's good quality..

Works great for electric and full band live recording too.
