Does anyone know if the standard bigsby b5 screw spacing and location is the same as a fender logo bigsby b5?

Was looking to put a bigsby on a partscaster I am working on which previously had a f-logo bigsby, I was wondering if a standard b5 would fit the same screw holes or if it would require re-drilling.

This is the B5 layout from the Bigsby site - you may be able to scale the fastener locations since it does have some dimensions called out

I can measure up a B5 I have on hand to give you accurate dimensions to the centers of the screw holes if you need them

So - we are still wondering? :)

It appears there is a difference

But - it also appears that the escutcheon plate would cover up the difference

Maybe we will hear back from the OP ??? :)

Another thing to keep in mind - the old Bigsby sand-castings are not really "perfect", like we might expect a good, well-made die-casting to be today

I've noticed with B5's and B16's that even the layout of the screw holes is not "perfect" - the mounting holes are not laid out on a perfectly square grid where the perpendicular is at exactly 90 degrees to the baseline

But - the mounting holes are close enough to make things "look right" ;)

Thank you for all the help I’ll need to make some measurements of the body and do some matching. The only reason I was looking use a standard b5 is because the fender logo ones seem to be scarce at the moment.

When you measure up the F-logo holes in your body - post up your findings

Just by eye-balling the difference, it appears that the F-logo's bottom two screws sit down lower on the body, but it would be nice to know if that is correct and what the actual difference might be

Don't be shy about posting up your findings - we all learn from each other here!
