I brushed my Siamese cat, Tommie Eve yesterday.
    She's even smaller now.
    She seems happier with me.
That's all the good news I have for now.
    Thanks for listening.

Well I made the big jump (for me) of buying my first active speaker, pedal board, and mic.. had a lot of fun today singing with my Tele and getting everything setup. My poor neighbors.. but what a great time.

I've decided to build a cigarbox guitar as a christmas present for my older brother. Got a cool old "native" cigarbox online which I just ordered. I'm gonna go all out on this, make the guitar simple with a piezo under a cool cover, 3 string oak neck, and maybe some brass corner pads if it looks nicely! After the build I wanna make a snugfitting case in light wood, with some flannel interior or something, and make a small apartment containing a fine cigar, a bottleneck and a rope strap with some leather. Can't wait to get started! I hope the box is a decent size.

You might very well be seeing a new thread where I need help soon, as this is my very first build! :)

While cleaning my cave I moved my 1965 Twin Reverb and found I didn't glue it to the floor during the recover.
    It's just freaking heavy.

I saw Chet riding his bike toward the ocean with fishing gear while He was eating a sandwich with one hand.

Oh come on be a man :D my 1977 non-UL SF Twin weighs in the 80 pound range with its EVs and I don't complain about hauling it to gigs. The tone is well worth the weight!

Wife has been having a ton of back pain, and problems. Went in for x-rays and tests. They were pretty worried because of really bad night time pain. Said there was a possibility that it could be a tumor. Tests are back, it's not a tumor! We're just getting old. Pretty exciting news around these parts.

I'm having brunch and bloody mary's this morning with a beautiful 23 year old lady. This is the 4Th month in a row we've done this so it's turned into a regular thing. We worked together a few years ago and reconnected this summer. Nothing romantic buts it's nice spending time with her . Makes me feel 30 years younger.

Also for the second year in a row I will not be going to the G.C. Black Friday sale even though I have a G.C. 5 minutes from my house. I think I may have finally gotten rid of my G.A.S.

I do, but I want to tease everyone for a couple of months about it, so I "can't" tell you yet . . .

I will be attending Mark Knopfler and Bob Dylan's concert tonight at the Boston Garden, then staying the night at a nice hotel so I don't have to wake up too early to go to work... which is in Boston too. I also will have my dear wife with me. I have been promised some-some.

My wife and I adopted a French Bulldog puppy who's mother had been rescued (while pregnant) from a bad breeder/hoarder. Gordon was born into foster care. We adopted him from Evergreen Animal Protective League, the same organization from whom we adopted our white German Shepherd ten years ago. Having a puppy in a house with a 12-13 year old German Shepherd and a 10 year old pug is interesting!

While strumming my Tele just moments ago, I "heard" the first few notes of a song from a band I know. I tried to play along, but it didn't sound the same....I suspect they have a capo deal going on. I will investigate further and try to train my ears more.
