Yeah baby, just got done watching the Dodgers move on to the NLCS. Good pitching and huge timely at-bats worked the A-T-L. Nice feeling as this just doesn't happen as often as it used to. We finally have a good pitching rotation.

    Who is your team?

It should be easy to bring in a few solid pitchers with the (2nd) highest payroll in baseball.

I'm really looking forward to the Dodgers/Diamondbacks opening series at the Sydney Cricket Ground next year, it's only an hour down the freeway! Apparently its 100 years since the last big league team played in Oz.

I shamelessly jumped on the Cardinals bandwagon in 2011. Glad they won this morning!

Would you be surprised if I told you we were used to it lol. At least we've won one Fall Classic. I still love the Bravos though even if it's bittersweet.

Stop being bitter. If it was your team I would say congrats. At last we have some low key owners that spend some money to provide the Dodger fans with a winning team. We have not had this in a while. And I will allude to some of the most embarrassing years in the history of the franchise that occurred most recently.

I am a happy Dodgers fan. I am rooting for the Pirates now as I see the Cardinals as a perennial PITA. Congrats to the rest of the teams that are still playing and battling!

    choking is for the braves.

the braves couldn't sell out the night Hank Aaron hit 715.

They have never deserved the teams they have had. No wonder the team folds during the playoffs.. the fan base doesn't care.

They have had some awesome teams and never fill the stadium. It is a shame…

I'm watching the Rays and they might have a worse crowd to play for… brutal! Such great teams, such sucky non attending fans, such crappy stadiums too…

    Go Pirates!

I've always thought Yankee fans were the worst but you really make a good case for the Dodger's.

Go Big Blue Machine! I was at game #3, the 13-6 drubbing of ATL. What a blast that was.
I've been watching the other playoff game with great interest; I think the Dodgers match up pretty well against anybody. Having to look at Kershaw at least 2 times in a 7 game series is pretty sobering...

Baltimore Orioles fan here. I saw the Dodgers play the Birds at Memorial Stadium in game 4 of the 1966 series. Birds took it in a 4 game sweep, shut out the Dodgers the last 33 innings. Hope you have better results this year!

Damn, I hate when that happens. Awesome game 1 and the Dodgers could have won it earlier. Exciting game though. Everything it should be. Dang Cardinals.
