I was just curious to know what type of amp you prefer with Telecaster.

For example i definitely prefer Fender amps with the Es 335 but i'm not too shure with Tele, i find that Vox with Tele are a very good pair but i also love tele with Fender amps.

Of course if you like other brands feel free to say which one.

What do you guys think about ?

    Cheers.

Maybe. I'm not a technical person but I'm guessing they compliment one another, filling in a sonic canvas, with tele highs and vox amp mids working together. For me Strats work great with Fender amps though, so maybe there it's a mids guitar filling in high and low of the Fender. I dunno. Maybe. Somebody clever will come along in a minute and give you a proper answer.

I prefer Fender amps and/or clones/dirivitaves of them for ALL guitars.

I prefer Vox. What Mr Scallywag said makes sense to me.

I've never owned a Vox, but have owned 3 or 4 EL84 based amps and have played a bunch of Dr Z Vox derivatives(Stang Ray, Maz, etc). Still prefer Fender types with 6V6s or 6L6s. There's just a "fatness" or girth of tone that EL84 amps don't give me. Even the Marshall 1974x Handwired.

Yes it makes sense, that's why maybe i don't like the es 335 with vox so much, because it's rather dark guitar especially the neck pick up and with the fender brightness it's just perfect.

... I like Fender ... for one reason or another I never really warmed up to Vox Amps even in the 60's.

It's strange that while most of my favourite guitarists use Fender amps, I prefer playing through a Vox-style, both with Teles, Strats and 335's.

Like them both.. But my current fender amp is still new to me.. so it is getting all the play time.

I love both my Blues Junior and my Vox AC-15.
So it looks like my favorites are amps with EL-84s.

My favorite amp is a Fender, a 57 Twin Reissue I got used about 10 years ago. All my guitars sound better through that amp than any amp I've owned in over 50 years. But... I've only tried a couple of Vox amps in all that time so I can't really answer the question.

I love for example John Scofield that uses an Ac 30 but i still prefer Fender's with semi hollow body guitars
