My partner did the artwork on the strap. It had to have that Bowie lyric but he had creative control past that. Sprayed a layer of clear coat and it’s perfect for that Jetson’s looking St. Vincent.

Currently have a squier tele I bought and modded the hell out of because I was bored and needed something to do. My daughter plays it because she loves the color (surf green). I’ll probably never use it for anything.

I carry my beloved Squier Affinity P-bass around in a Fender gig bag, and sling it from one of those skinny black leather Fender straps with the slideable shoulder pad.

I used to have an open-backed Fender 4 x 12 guitar cab; it appeared to be built that way. It was an essential stage survival weapon at the time, to stave off being raped and pillaged by the bass player’s Hartke 3500/ 4 x 10 / 2 x 15 rig. Then everyone started getting friendly and huggy and mutually supportive and self actualized with small, polite amps. Our communicative output seemed to get more cohesive, concurrent with that shift.

1985 Fender Sidekick 15 Chorus - Small 15 watt, 1x8 practice amp. Bought it used in Germany in 1989, along with an old Digitech multi-effects processor pedal.

2012 Fender Rumble 15 bass amp - Smallish cabinet, 15 watt, another 1x8 rig. It lives over at our girl singer's loft now, for band practices.

    2016 Fender Duo Sonic, 6 lbs, 13 ounces 24 1/8th“ scale

I reflexively started typing "no." Then I remembered my Princeton II. Then while typing that, I remembered my Squier Bullet.

They done got into my brain when I wasn't looking!!

Maybe he just uses the motor oil in his Beetle.
