Absolutely. There is something that happens when I get up and make my bed. It's an accomplishment to begin the day. Sets a good tone.

Plus coming home to an unmaid bed is a drag.

My wife and I share a bed but have separate blankets (she gets cold easier than me). The bed can’t be properly made anyway, so we’re like, “why bother?”

No. I did once and my wife thought it was so out of character for me, that she accused me of having an affair with a woman who, obviously, made the bed. She finally regained her senses and believed me, but that was enough to put me off from ever trying again :)

I admit that I still sleep like I did in Marine Corps boot camp 24 years ago....on top of the covers with a "dust" cover. When I get up, the bed is already made, just need to tighten it up and I am done in less than 3 minutes.

I just never got into fancy bedding I guess, still use my GI blankets even. When I travel, I find it really difficult to sleep in a hotel bed.

Nope. Only if I’m visiting somewhere.

    Cheers,

Nope. I get up 530 for work. That's way too early to throw in making a bed. And on weekends I'm taking it easy. So no making a bed then either

I said yes but actually my wife does it because she sleeps later than I do. If she didn’t I would.

I pull the covers up and straighten out the pillows just enough to make it look like I made the bed so my partner doesn't get more angry with me than she already is. She gets up quite a bit earlier than me for her job, which has been work-at-home for the past year. I used to be able to get out of bed at an hour of my own choosing. Now that she works from home she'd prefer that I get up when she does. I've managed to negotiate a shaky truce that allows me to get up much later than she would like, and a bit earlier than I would like. So "sort of" making the bed is one of the things I do to avoid bringing too much attention to the matter. Because if I draw too much attention to that whole subject, any changes are certainly not going to be in my favor.

The radiators in my place run so hot I sleep on top of the covers.

I get up at 4:00AM* each weekday to go to work.

I think my wife would be a bit miffed if I were to make the bed before I left for work.

On weekends we do it together.

*Good Lord, why am I still awake at 10:20PM?
I have to get up in a couple of hours

Whoever gets up last makes the bed.

To those saying “why make it when its just going to get messed up again”, I have to ask “why do you bathe or shower if you are just going to get dirty again”? Or “why cut the lawn when it’s just going to grow again”? Sorry, I have this argument with my daughter all the time when she won’t wash her car because they are calling for rain in a couple of days. However, she has no problem taking 2 showers a day!

Nope. I used to but then I got to thinking...here I am sleeping under these covers for 7 or 8 hours...sweating, sloughing off skin, mites eating that skin and Gawd knows what else and then get out of bed in the morning and seal it all up air tight by making the bed....let it cook for a dozen or so more hours and then get back into it. Night after night until you wash the sheets. It's like taking your clothes off at the end of the day, sealing them up in a bag overnight and then putting them on again in the morning. So for a few years now I get out of bed and turn the sheets down to expose them to the cleansing effects of fresh air and whatever sunlight may get in on them. And then fairly recently I read some sort of science-y type article recommending that very thing. It just seems like common sense to me.
